Description:
Barbican House sits opposite Lewes Castle at the centre of the historic and picturesque town of Lewes. Originally medieval the building was remodelled in the late 16th and mid 17th century as the town flourished and prosperous families updated homes. It is the home of The Museum of Sussex Archaeology and the Sussex Archaeological Society Library.
